StreetScape Needs

Our greatest two needs are resources and relationships. We struggle financially, often running behind or even broke, and we lack the manpower to match the mission. What we need most are those willing to help us do the work, disciple their brothers, show up, and give faithfully so that we can keep the doors open, and the mission alive.

Consider helping us meet these needs:

Men's Clothing

We freely provide women’s and children’s clothing in abundance, but when it comes to men’s clothing, our shelves are nearly bare. The greatest needs are season-appropriate items—hats, shoes, socks, and underwear. If every man in our local churches gave just one unwanted outfit each year we would have more than enough to clothe every brother who comes through our doors.

Yard Maintenance Equipment

Our mission's weedwacker is now broken, so a friend had to mow with her own equipment last week. We need heavier-duty equipment for our space. New yard equipment and a few extra tools would not only maintain our own space, but, we could also lend them to trusted and vetted guests. This would give them the chance to start micro-businesses—like lawn care or handyman services—and begin building sustainable, legitimate income streams.

Handyman Services

There’s always work to be done around the mission, and too often we patch things together for weeks or months at a time. We need those who could come by, even just once a month, to take on a variety of building and repair projects. With donated tools and materials, not only could we maintain and improve our facilities, but we could also invite our guests to put their own skills to work.

Camping Supplies

Many of our guests are homeless, living on the streets, beaches, in wooded camps, or in their cars. Their most common requests are simple: tents, tarps, hammocks, and other basic camping supplies. Sadly, we rarely have enough money to meet all these needs. A small gift toward these items can provide shelter for someone who would otherwise be exposed to the elements.

Rides & Carpools

More than half of our guests face simple needs they cannot meet on their own. Sometimes it’s an ID card, a birth certificate, or a Social Security card. But small barriers—a $15–$50 fee or no ride to the DMV—become roadblocks to their future. With just a little help, these obstacles can be removed, and lives can begin to move forward.

Discipleship & Support

Our vision is for teams of two or more to rise up and walk alongside a brother or sister in need. These small teams would meet either every two weeks or once a month with an individual—offering support on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual level. Through this consistent care, basic needs are met and hope grows as each person is personally guided in their next steps forward.
